Except for “Second Coming”, all the songs were written by John Squire and Ian Brown. “Second Coming” was, with the exception of 3 songs, written by John Squire. “Daybreak” was written by John Squire, Mani, Ian Brown and Reni. “Begging You” was written by John Squire and Ian Brown and “Straight To The Man” was written by Ian Brown.
When and how did the Stone Roses break up...?
The band officially called it a day on 29 October 1996 when bassist Mani left to join Primal Scream.

Why do some of the songs sound like they being played backwards...?
The Stone Roses often come up with another track by playing one of their existing tracks backward. Sometimes this is a remix. The most obvious example is the "Waterfall" / "Don't Stop" duo on the debut album. Here is a full listing of the backward tracks (and their forward counterpart):

Are all of the Stone Roses singles still available...?
Might be hard to find in your local record store right now. Singles tend to be available for only a few months before being deleted. There are occasional reissues, but the majority of singles are out of print.
Where can out of print and promotional items be obtained...?
Items are occasionally available and advertised by record dealers in magazines such as Record Collector (UK) and Goldmine (USA). It can often be worthwhile contacting dealers and asking for lists of Stone Roses material they have in stock and many offer search services for hard to find material. A number of dealers also have web sites - check advertisements in the above magazines or try a web directory or search engine.

Unfortunately they don’t have a site or email adress. Geffen used to host their website years ago, but since their split it’s offline. You can check these sites for further information:
